Optimization methods for curvilinear reinforcements placement aims to improve mechanical response of structure. Whenever a gradient-based method is used optimization, it necessary arbitrate an initial the fibers. This guess has influence on result. work observe positioning straight carbon fiber in epoxy resin plates, which had their compliance minimized by Sequential Linear Programming. The maximum displacement observed too, even if not objective function. case studies were carried out same structure and number fibers its slope changed. Variation force was also evaluated. results confirmed results. addition greater does always cause better performance design. To achieve best results, essential that arrangement be configured such way as provide proximity ends forces supports. It's important try place with axial directions close direction force.
